Lift Tower 2018.

AV Architects were commissioned in 2017 to design a contemporary lift tower to allow for wheelchair access to three levels of an elegant Victorian house located in a Tonbridge conservation area.

The design balances the need for visual permeability to the landscape beyond, the inherent vertical aesthetic of a lift, relationship to the streetscape and host building.

Planning was granted for the design in October 2018 to the delight of our clients and AV Architects.

We look forward to developing the project further during 2019.
